If you cook the steak for the first time, you need to process and fell every cooking step. You need to choose the best fire, keep in mind that you need to turn the steak over in time, and decide what type of cooking you prefer so you can achieve it under your circumstances.
I buy already seasoned and prepared for cooking steaks. If you cut the steaks by yourself at home, keep in mind that the best steak thickness is 2,5-3 cm.
Ingredients
- 1 steak weighing 450 gr
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Grilled vegetables
- 1 zucchini
- 1 large white onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 300 gr mushrooms
- 100 gr tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
- 2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar
Wash, cut and marinate vegetables in olive oil, balsamic vinegar, add salt and pepper. Leave for 1 hour, then put on a heated grill, fry until done.

Method of cooking
Before cooking, put the steak aside, so it is at room temperature.
Pour olive oil over the steak, add salt and pepper.
There are many theories as to when it is best to salt and pepper a steak, I do this right before frying, but you can experiment.
Place the steak on the grill over an open fire or on a special grill pan.
Fry the steak, turning it over every 2.5 minutes for 10 minutes for medium-rare. Turn the steak over for four times.
Adjust the heat t your meat type so that the steak does not burn.
You can measure the temperature inside the steak with a thermometer. 62.8°C is steak with blood, 71°C steak is already medium. If you like your steak well-done, keep it up to 73-75°C.
Transfer the steak to a plate, cover with foil and be sure to let it rest for 10 minutes.
In the meantime, cook the vegetables.
