Method of cooking

Prepare a pie form 24 cm in diameter. Cover with parchment or grease with butter.

Sift flour, add salt and sugar.

Grind butter into the flour. Rub everything into crumbs with your hands.

Add an egg and pour cold water. Knead an elastic dough.

Wrap in food film and leave in the fridge for an hour.

Wash the plums. Remove the bones and cut each half into two more parts.

Add sugar and cornstarch to the plums. Mix everything well.

Divide the dough in one big and one small part.

Roll out the bigger part, put it in a mold, and put the filling on the dough.

Use a smaller part of the dough to decorate the top of the pie. It can be a grid or other patterns.

Grease the cake with a mixture for a ruddy crust and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake for up to 1 hour at 180°C.

The pie has to cool out completery in the mold, only then you can cut it.
