Quesadilla is a Mexican dish, made of corn or wheat tortilla with cheese. Quesadilla may be translated from Spanish as Cheese tortilla.
Often one adds other ingredients than cheese to vary the taste.
You can buy round wheat tortillas in the bread section of the supermarket.
I made chicken quesadilla, but you can remove it from the ingredients and get vegetables-and-cheese variant.
Telling the truth, this dish is very convenient and tasty. Suitable for lunch, dinner, or as a snack, easy in cooking and allows innumerable ideas of filling.
Ingredients
- 4 large tortillas
- 1 chicken fillet or other meat
- 1 avocado
- 1 mini jar of canned corn
- green onion
- 150-200 gr aged mozzarella
- Greasing sauce can be tomato sauce or mayonnaise
- Butter for greasing tortillas.

Method
Get a pan. Grease one side of the tortilla with butter. We will put it on the pan to get a fragrant crust.
Before putting the filling, spread the tortilla with sauce or mayonnaise, so the filling will be fixed.
Place pieces of fried fillet or other meat on top, you can use fried bacon as well. Then cut in cubes avocado, corn, green onion, sprinkle grated cheese on top. Cover with the second tortilla.
Heat it on a pan on low heat so that the cheese has time to melt and quesadilla gets browned. Do it on both sides. Turn carefully so that the filling does not fall out.
In order to avoid difficulties in turning the quesadilla on a pan, you can spread the filling on half of the tortilla and cover it with the other part, like a folded pizza.
Cut while hot and serve.
