Christmas and New Year holidays are made to cook tasty gingerbread cookies, put them in a nice gift box and treat everyone around you. You can choose any shape you like. I even used Linzer cookie cutter and filled gingerbread cookies with apricot jam. It was delicious.
To make cookies with a filling, you’ll need to roll the dough very thin. In you use no filling, you can make the cookies thicker. Then you’ll get a tasty gingerbread.

Method of cooking
Mix honey, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a pan with a thick bottom. Put on low fire, stir constantly until the sugar dissolves
Add butter to the hot mixture, mix and let it cool a little. Then add 1 egg. Mix well.
Gradually add sifter flour with baking soda.
Wrap the dough in food film and leave it in the fridge for 2-3 hours (you can do it overnight).
Take the dough in parts, roll out and bake for 10-15 minutes at 180°C. Bake cookies by size: either all large or all small.
You can also make holes in cookies with a cocktail straw before baking them. Then you can decorate the Christmas tree with such cookies.
Ingredients: Powdered sugar + lemon juice
Method of cooking: Make a thick glaze and decorate the cookies with the help of a pastry bag.
