This apple cake recipe is perfect if you don’t want to make shortbread dough.

- Lemon or orange zest
- 100 gr butter at room temperature
- 100 gr sugar
- 1 egg
- 125 gr milk
- 3 large apples
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
